Here’s an update on things that have been happening this fall with the Nickels family.
We came home one day to find Phoebe’s snout all swollen up. We think she must have gotten into a wasp’s nest or something. We gave her some benadryl and the swelling went down.
Here we are picking apples at a local orchard (it was unseasonably cold that day – thus the jackets). They have old-fashioned wooden apple presses that you can use to make your own cider. It was lots of fun and the cider was delicious.
We also took a trip to a local ranch to pick pumpkins to decorate for Halloween.
Zack was so proud that he could lift his own pumpkin.
The kid’s enjoyed playing in the hay fort they had set up at the ranch.
Phoebe enjoyed it too.

Looks like your Fall is starting out wonderful!
Looks so fun! I heard the WSU apples all froze this year...but looks like you found a good place to go. And I love the pumpkin ranch! The other day Dane said, "I don't know what we'll do if we can't carve pumpkin's with the Nickels at Kim's house this year!" Heehehe :) Miss ya, have a good holiday.
Fun fall activities! Hayley's hair looks so cute! Have you been straightening it? How do you find out about all these fun things to do with the kids?
Looks like fun and beautiful! Phoebe's nose looks pretend!
The kids are looking so big! You guys are always finding fun stuff to do!
